Seeking information for a research project investigating two western New York craft operations: Arthur Cole’s “Avon Coppersmith” (Avon, N.Y., 1933-1970) and Clarence E. Wemett’s “Roadside Craftsmen” (East Bloomfield, N.Y., 1929-1953), including potter Guy Daugherty, woodworker Homer Bullock and iron worker Clarence Curtis. Of particular interest are ephemera and related fugitive information such as catalogues, advertisements, postcards, photographs, business records, correspondence and newspaper clippings about each shop.
