First I want to thank our readers and advertisers for their support in helping us transition to delivery of the Collector through the internet. When you visit www.nypa-collector.com you are arriving at a website that has both web features and what is commonly called an “e-edition” of a traditional print publication. We think it is valuable to retain the print format as an e-edition, as many readers prefer to read the “magazine” format.
One feature our readers may not have noticed is that the e-edition is in “pdf” format and there is an opportunity to download the entire issue to be saved on your personal computer. That way, once you’ve visited the website and downloaded the issue, you can read it at your convenience without an internet connection. Of course we’d like you to visit the website regularly in between “e-editions” each month. Just a note, the e-edition and website features are subject to copyright and should not be re-distributed.
We continue to work out some of the issues relating to rebuilding a website and and email list, so we hope you will continue to visit. As far as email, we never sell your information.
For show organizers who advertise with us, we continue to invite your “news releases” and show photos.
As we enter the summer months we know there will be plenty of opportunities to take part in events and outdoor antiques shows. Be sure to find some time to enjoy them!
