**Antique Dealers Sought for June 2 in Historic Clifton Springs

Picturesque downtown Clifton Springs is the perfect setting for perusing and purchasing antiques! On Saturday, June 2 an Antique Show & Sale will take place surrounded by beautiful architecture from the Victorian era. This Antique Show & Sale will take place from 9am – 3pm as part of the 22nd Annual Sulphur Springs Festival.
Clifton Springs began thriving in the mid-nineteenth century sparked by Dr. Henry Foster’s dedication to the “Water Cure” and the community. A antique and art enthusiasts will be welcome inside the chapel at Dr. Foster’s former Clifton Springs Sanitarium to view a rare Tiffany mosaic and reredos, on Saturday.
Antique dealers will set up near Foster Cottage Museum, former home of Dr. Foster. The Museum offers free admission and plenty of antiques to appreciate.

The Sulphur Springs Festival is always held the first weekend in June. The evening of Friday, June 1 will feature a Beer & Wine Stroll highlighting local craft beverages. The Dean’s List Band will entertain with a free concert and vendors will offer a variety of edible options.
In addition to the Antique Show & Sale,Saturday events will include free concerts; horse drawn wagon rides; a street painting festival; Tiffany mosaic viewings; old fashioned games and competitions; and much more.
Main Street Clifton Springs is just off Route 96, between NYS Thruway Exits 42 and 43. Most of downtown is within a 7.5 acre district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
